Turkey

A friend sent me a Christmas present which I am passing on.  Do you know what it means when you say ‘he went to Turkey’?  It means that he had a hair transplant.  Apparently Turkey is the hair transplant capital of the world.  The combination of good technology, a low price and an accessible and pleasant location make Turkey the top place to visit to recover a full head of hair.

The story about Turkey teeth is not so encouraging.  Dentists in Turkey offer you a nice smile for an affordable price.  It has become increasingly common for people in the UK to go and get their gleaming white teeth in Turkey rather than shell out a fortune to the local dentists, but there are stories from Australian travellers as well.  Not happy stories.  They have come back with teeth requiring expensive rehabilitation after shoddy dental treatment in Turkey.

So go to Turkey for the hair but be content with the smile that God gave you.
