subtle dancing

This is a term that has emerged in the rules and restrictions on behaviour governed by Covid-19.  You are allowed to dance, but only in the style dubbed subtle dancing. There is no clear definition of this but the best guess is that it is standing up and wiggling your hips.  Subtle dancing involves no contact with a dancing partner and maintains a safe distance. We may look forward to inspired dancers developing the moves for subtle dancing that give it some cachet.

You are allowed to have a drink provided you are engaged in seated consumption, that is, you are having your drink while you are sitting down.  Drinking while standing up, or vertical consumption, has been a no-no.  I’m not sure what public servant came up with these terms. They are probably buried in the legal language surrounding hotel and restaurant licensing, but they are front and centre now. And very amusing.
