quarantine style

First  we had COVID fashion, a style of clothing that was still at the high end of fashion but incorporated things like face masks and hoops to maintain social distance.  This new move in clothing choices is coming from the other end, the down-market end of tracksuits and loose-fitting tops with no bras, combined with sneakers.  Quarantine style maintains comfort as the first requirement of clothing but then tries to dress it up a little.  A loose flowing skirt is slightly more dressy than tracksuit pants, but still very easy to wear.  Roots that are showing and hair that is unwashed can be disguised under a cloth cap or scarf. A loose top can still be a nice cut and a bright colour. There are ways of picking ourselves up off the floor in terms of fashion consciousness without losing the comfort that has become the norm.
