This is a new genre, similar to fantasy but with explicit sex scenes involving human and fairy characters.  It has required a new classification of literature.  Young Adult literature was well established and fantasy novels were a big part of it.  Explicit sex scenes, however, do not belong there so a new classification, New Adult, has been created in which fairy porn books can be clustered in the bookshop.  The new genre has caused some angst in American schools which were used to a diet of young adult fantasy books but shocked to discover the new books had explicit sex.  At the urging of parents, various schools have removed them as not part of the curriculum or in keeping with school values.  Who would have thought that a fay creature could be so outrageous!
