financial sovereignty

Remember the sovereign citizen?  The person whose inalieniable rights and freedoms could not be take from them by any government, and who therefore did not have to wear a mask or get a vaccine during Covid.  Well, this sovereign citizen also claims that they do not have to pay any tax.  They have financial sovereignty. The ATO disputes this of course but what would they know? The sovereign citizen has done their homework and read the Magna Carta which makes taxation out to be a kind of donation to the government.  It seems that once you have done whatever you need to do or want to do with your money, you can pay some to the government if you wish. But you don’t have to.
