water bike

As I gaze out at the river I can see myself pedalling along it with the greatest of ease, thanks to the invention of the water bike.   The device is so new that, while the brand names are clear, the generic name hasn’t quite settled yet.  Electric water bike, water e-bike,  hydrofoil bike – there are various names.  Water bike is the simplest but there are in fact two water bikes now.  The one that has been around for a while is the pontoon water bike – a bike which is pedalled and supported between two attached pontoons – while this new one is the hydrofoil water bike – a bike which is pedalled but has motor assist and which sits on hydrofoils.
