milk bath
It worked for Cleopatra and possibly it works for us, although there are no proven results. It seems that milk baths are particularly recommended for skin conditions, sunburn, and reactions to poison ivy, but even just for generally dry skin. It just takes a couple of cups of milk added to the bathwater to get the benefits, but be warned. Do not use skim milk because the fats in the milk are needed in the treatment. There is no advice on whether whole milk is preferable to powdered milk, or cow milk is preferable to goat’s milk. It worries me that soy milk and coconut milk are also in the list since these are plant-based products with, you would expect, a different effect.
