pop-up hospital

In other circumstances this might have been referred to as a field hospital but these pop-ups are being erected in the middle of cities, often in the carpark of the bricks-and-mortar hospital.  They are often a collection of large tents equipped for the provision of medical treatments and for the isolation of patients with COVID-19.  As pandemics have produced a patient surge, they have been rapidly assembled and will, just as rapidly, disappear we hope when the vaccine is distributed through the populace.
