yapaholic

This is a person who talks incessantly.  The word seems to have greater frequency than capaholic, a pathological liar.  And I guess we are more familiar with the verb to yap meaning ‘to prattle on’ than we are with to cap meaning ‘to lie’.  Capping is an item from early 1900s Black English slang and meant exaggerating to be one-up on someone else.  From an exaggeration to a lie was an easy step. Capping in this sense leads to the expression no cap! meaning ‘That’s the truth!’.

The origin of capping is in underworld slang where a capper was a swindler’s confederate who, though supposedly unrelated in any way to the main conman, by his support increased the confidence of the victim. In gambling he would always cap the bets and be paid later from the earnings.

Both yapaholic and capaholic are fine additions to our set of -aholics adopted by Gen Alpha.
