skills passport

This is a system for securely storing one’s education and training accreditations in one digitised location that allows for the individual employee to update and verify their details and for employers to access the database to find the workers with the skills that they need. This particular system is the national skills passport but there are others.  Individual training organisations have a similar passport within their organisation.  There is a green skills passport on offer, a free online training course to provide people with skills for green jobs.  We now have a number of passports to pack into our digital wallets.
