COVID baby boom

 The Victorian health minister has announced that his state has a COVID baby boom happening. There was some speculation that this would be one of the outcomes of lockdown restrictions.  With more time on our hands and not many other options, going to bed for the duration might seem like a good idea.  Victoria has announced a 5.7 per cent increase in the birth rate, amounting to 1,400 extra babies.  It is worth noting that lockdown restrictions were eased in Victoria in September/October last year.
