Covid toes

These are painful lesions on the toes which appear to be a symptom of the coronavirus.  They range in colour from red to purple and are accompanied by a tingling, burning feeling.  The condition was reported by the American Dermatology Association which had asked medical staff to complete a short survey of skin conditions present in patients who had tested positive to the disease. The expectation was that there would be viral rashes but instead there were numerous cases of inflamed toes and fingers.  While fingers are also affected, the condition has come to be called COVID toes.
