green kerosene

This is a synthetic fuel made by splitting water molecules and adding CO2 to the hydrogen using renewable energy.  The process actually pulls carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.  The fuel produced releases carbon into the atmosphere when burned but since it has already taken that carbon out of the atmosphere it is carbon-neutral and therefore green.  It can be used at the high end of technology in jets or at the low end in green kerosene lamps.  It solves one of the big environmental problems, the vast amount of oil-based fuel used in aeroplanes. In addition green diesel can be made from the by-products. While we all wait for the better battery to arrive, our planes are dependent on liquid fuel which, until now, has been oil-based. Green kerosene could change this.
