stay-at-home stock

These are the stocks that are taking a battering on the stock exchange now that there is the promise of a vaccine – stocks such as ZOOM and Netflix that flourished during the pandemic when we all stayed at home, watched lots of movies, and conducted conversations, both business and domestic, via ZOOM.   A vaccine promises to change our lives again, although perhaps we will not return to life exactly as it was before.  Nevertheless, the stock exchange, in these uncertain times always volatile, has leapt from supporting the stay-at-home stocks, which could be regarded as having only temporary success, to those which were the best bets in normal circumstances.
