hybrid warfare

We now have many types of warfare listed in the dictionary, and many ways of attacking another country that do not involve troops on the ground. Hybrid warfare sums up this situation, comprising the traditional armed forces along with lawfare (legal attacks on another country), cyberwarfare (attacks on enemy infrastructure by hacking computer systems), and the manipulation of social media, generally described as fake news.

I remember when the Defence Department realised they needed to set up an IT group for military activities. Not the usual IT staff looking after their computer systems but an aggressive IT group eyeing off other countries. The people they need to employ were the hackers they were formerly pursuing for illegal activities. How to frame the advertisement?
